Michele Pipan is Full Professor of Applied Geophysics and Head of the Exploration Geophysics Group at the University of Trieste. He conducts research on geophysical methods and their application in numerous fields, including geology, natural and energy resources (fossil and renewable), glaciology, engineering and non-destructive controls, environment and cultural heritage. His main research interests are in the field of seismic and ground-penetrating radar data processing, inversion and interpretation.
