Anna Del Ben is a Researcher in Applied Geophysics at the University of Trieste, Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Geosciences. Her research activities mainly concern seismic interpretation for the reconstruction of the geodynamic and tectonic evolution of basins, seismostratigraphy and analysis of geo-hazard. In recent years she has focused his study on the Messinian Salinity Crisis and on the large impact on the Plio-Quaternary up to the Present in the basins of the Mediterranean Sea. The generation and migration of hydrocarbons and other fluids within the sedimentary sequence were also studied, with particular attention to gas seeps, presence of gas reservoirs and petrophysical parameters of the rocks.
