Barbara Merson holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, with marine specialisation, and also a II Level Specialising Masters in Management of Universities and Research. She has worked in Italy and abroad in both public and private projects, coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports. Since 2010 she has been working at OGS, the Italian Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics, within the technical-scientific organisation of International projects and Italian initiatives in the field of geological storage of CO2 (CCS). Since 2020 she is the Secretary General of the CO2GeoNet Association.
